Run the venue, not the inbox.

Enquiries, quotes, invoices and the diary — sorted in one calm place. Free for 10 bookings a month, no contract, and when a client pays, every penny lands in your own Stripe account. We never take a cut.

how it works, roughly

Watch a maybe become a booking.

An enquiry lands — website form, wedding fair, a number scribbled on a beer mat. VenueBee walks it to the finish line: enquiry, quote, deposit, confirmed. The whole trail — messages, quote, payments — stays on one card, and nothing lives in your head or a spreadsheet ever again.

Quotes they can say yes to. Invoices that chase themselves.

Build a quote from your own price list — your spaces, your prices, your logo — and send it in minutes, not two evenings. When they accept it becomes a booking; when the deposit’s due, VenueBee does the polite nudging so you never write “just following up…” again. Card payments go through your venue’s own Stripe. The money never touches us.

One diary. No double-booked back room.

Every space, every confirmed booking, every provisional hold and changeover buffer — on one calendar the whole team can see. If the barn’s taken on the 14th, VenueBee knew before you did, and it simply won’t let the back room be promised to two birthday parties.

A £3,000 wedding shouldn’t cost you £450.

List on a marketplace and they take 10–15% of every booking. VenueBee isn’t a marketplace. Your clients pay you directly, through your own Stripe account — we charge a flat monthly fee and that’s the end of it. We couldn’t take a cut if we wanted to.

where paid plans start

Most venue systems start around £80–£200 a month, usually on an annual contract.

No contract.

Monthly. Leave whenever. There’s an export button, not a retention team.

Free actually means free.

10 bookings a month, forever. Not a trial with a timer on it.

Built between bookings.

VenueBee is made by the people who run The Apartment — a real venue with real changeover-day chaos and at least one double-booking we still don’t talk about. We built the tool we couldn’t find: one that doesn’t take a cut, doesn’t lock you in, and doesn’t need an IT person on the committee. If something’s confusing or missing, email Rich. He replies — usually between a tasting and a load-in.

The pricing page other venue tools hide

Every other venue system makes you “request pricing”, then asks how big your budget is. Here’s ours, in full, on the homepage: Free, £19, £39 or £79 a month, excl. VAT. No contract on any of them. No commission on any of them. And the free plan is a plan, not a trial.

Prices exclude VAT. Payments processed securely by Stripe. Cancel any time — you keep access until the end of the billing period.

Fair questions.

Is there a contract?

No. Pay monthly, cancel in a click, export your data on the way out. We’d rather you stayed because it’s good.

Do you take a cut of bookings?

Never. Payments go through your venue’s own Stripe account. The money physically doesn’t pass through us.

What does the free plan actually include?

10 bookings a month, enquiries, quotes, invoices and the calendar. Free forever, not a 30-day countdown. When you outgrow it, the next plan is £19.

Do I need a card to sign up?

No.

We’re a volunteer committee with no IT person. Will we cope?

Yes. If your treasurer can use email, they can use VenueBee. And when committees change hands, handover is a button, not an archaeology dig.

Where does our data live?

Stored securely and protected under UK GDPR, with backups. Your clients’ details are yours — not ours to sell, and you can export them anytime.

Right then. Shall we?

Free for 10 bookings a month. No card, no contract, no commission. Set up in an afternoon — quicker than repainting the back room.
